Please Help

I know there are good people in this world; and if you bless someone else in need, you will be blessed. Here is my story:

My fiancé and I have been together for 10 years; have never gotten married because we could never afford it. He rescued me from a physically, emotionally and verbally abusive marriage and became a new father to my two children. We have had our ups and downs, mostly downs, and just need a break- some good fortune, some good luck, a blessing!

We went through some very hard times over the last several years with my now 15 year old son who has been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. He was extremely violent in the home to the point I was afraid of my own child, and had to be removed and undergo several years of mental health treatment. It was like I was being abused by my ex husband all over again.

Financially, we have never been able to get ahead; it’s always some kind of struggle. My fiancé lost his job the beginning of this year and has been only on unemployment benefits which is about to run out. It is much less than what he was making. Needless to say, the job market is very bad now and it is extremely hard to find something comparable. We have almost lost our home several times over the last eight years, and seems we are always in a pre-foreclosure situation. It is pretty sad when you have to chose between paying bills and feeding your family. After being home with my now five year old for five years, I have returned back to work on a part time basis; but it is not enough. We are barely making it; and most of the time can’t even afford to put gas in the vehicle so I can even get to work.

We incorporated ourselves back in 2002 with hopes of starting our own business, but were never approved for a Small Business Loan due to our personal bad credit history; as a result of both our previous marriages. We have been searching for grants from the government, but there is very little out there we would qualify for either as individuals, or as a small business because we are not currently “in business” right now. Unbelievable. There is help out there, but no help for those who need help getting started.

You can also donate from that site as well. He is currently wanted in three states, the arrears of my child support is at or over $35,000.00; and he is doing everything possible to avoid accepting his responsibility for his children.

Unfortunately, there is no status update to report, he is still a DEADBEAT DAD and has still not been located. He has done and continues to do everything possible to evade the authorities; and would rather not have contact with the kids than be found. In the mean time, my kids are suffering, I am suffering, and I can't afford back to school items for them. They are now 15 and 16; and my oldest will be looking for colleges to go to. Unfortunately, she will have to get as many student loans as possible, since she can't depend on her father to help with her tuition.
